Rob Boswell's practice is focused in the area of labour and employment and workplace health and safety law. He advises and represents employers in matters before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT) and the WSIB, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Ministry of Labour and other administrative tribunals.   He also represents employers and supervisors in defence of charges laid under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.  He represents both employers and employees in wrongful dismissal litigation in Ontario courts and in matters before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Rob has been a member of the executive of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Ontario Bar Association for over ten years, serving as its Chair in 2001 and again in 2007. He is the author of the Contractor’s Guide to Workplace Safety and Insurance published by the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario.   He currently serves as the legal member and co-chair of the Research Ethics Board of the Royal Victoria Hospital.
